CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES 2020 & 2021 COHORTS Enrolled children from our 2020 and 2021 cohorts who were part of the Zoom preparation lessons in August 2021 and had their ceremonies delayed due to Government stay-at-home public health orders; ceremonies have been moved to 2022. The Confirmation ceremony dates have tentatively been booked for the middle of February 2022. As soon as dates are confirmed by the Archdiocese of Sydney (we have been advised we will have this information by the end of November 2021), families will be notified of Ceremony dates for their children via email. We thank you for your understanding regarding this matter. Please note: Ceremony dates may be subject to change beyond our control due to Covid-19 restrictions. ZOOM LESSONS 2021 sees our Confirmation Programme move to online zoom lessons as face-to-face lessons are unable to take place at this time. On Saturday 7th August and Sunday 8th August, our Candidates along with their parents, began the Confirmation preparation programme. Normally during preparation for Confirmation we have the candidate’s flames displayed in the church. As this is currently not possible, the Candidates shared their flames with each other during their zoom lesson. Scroll down to view photos from our first zoom lesson. Please pray for our 94 Confirmation candidates as they prepare to receive the seal of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit as our Confirmation Candidates prepares for Confirmation, open their hearts to receive your word and enlighten their minds to understand it. Make it a living reality in their lives, a guide at their sides, a lamp for their feet and a light for their path. Strengthen them with your gifts so they may follow wherever you lead.
